Mary Ciammetti is a mother of four from Lafayette Hill who never imagined she could lose a child as a result of alcohol poisoning. But after he engaged in a night of heavy drinking at college two years ago, Mary and her family had to say goodbye to their youngest son, Christian, a LaSalle College High School grad and Temple University junior. Inspired by faith and hope, Mary has turned her family’s grief into an educational mission. Through her program “Don’t Stall, Just Call,” Mary has traveled to area high schools and colleges to offer life-saving education about the signs of alcohol poisoning and to raise awareness of the drinking culture. Her reach has been broad – hundreds have heard Christian’s story and learned how to make the call to save a friend’s life.
Please join us Sunday, March 5th and bring your daughters, granddaughters and nieces to hear Mary speak. After the brunch, please share Mary’s message with everyone you know. You could save a life.
